A Toucan

I noticed lack of gift shops for tourists in Belize.
There were a number of women with children that were sometimes in evidence but didn't have what I was looking for.
The Hotel Biltmore Best Western we stayed at in Belize City had a gift shop but again they had little that I was looking for.
I did buy a number of pounds of Belizean coffee.
There was very little of what I thought could be called native crafts.

When I visited the Mayan Ruin, Altun Ha, they had a small gift shop.
There were a number of hardwood bird sculptures which I thought were very good.
I bought three from the young sculptor who happened to be there at the time.

I'm putting them on this page and I hope someone who understands and appreciates such things can tell me if they are as good as they seem to me.
