This was also around 7000 feet. Mt Columbia is about 12000 feet. I undertand there are three glaciers coming from this mountain. The foot of this glacier has retreated a quarter mile since I saw it in 1948. We took the ride. A bus takes you about halfway and then you transfer to this snowbus. It has six wheel drive and tires that are about 5 feet across and four feet wide!
