Lake Louise is famous for its beauty.
And it is beautiful. But the beautiful Chateau Frontenac is gone and it no longer has the sweeping beauty it had in 1948. The water color of all these lakes is a remarkable azure/turquoise color due to what is called suspended glacial flour, finely divided powder ground from the rocks.
