Here is a closer view of the mountain. The mountain was renamed Mount Eisenhower after WWII. But apparently it reverted to Castle Mountain and the portion at the right end of the picture is now called the Eisenhower Tower!
We were a lot younger then and we actually climbed up to the tree line!
