Castle Mountain, Alberta

We drove to Calgary on Day 6 and stayed at Calgary for the night.
We went to Banff the next day and Sauny visited the famous Canadian store, the Hudson's Bay Company. After a day in Banff we drove up to Castle Mountain Cabins. This had a special meaning for me. Two of my college buddies and I drove from Washington DC to Los Angeles by way of Banff in 1948! So we revisited many of the things we saw then. We stayed here in 1948. One cabin is left of the ones that were there in 1948 and they put us in it. One could tell because the foundation was on rocks, the rest have concrete foundations.
