We decided to take a little trip to Canada, visiting a few friends along the way.
As has become our custom for trips, we rented a car. We went to Vancouver British Columbia, visited a number of botanical gardens there and then to Calgary for the night. The next day we entered Banff National Park. We headed up into the park looking for the Castle Mountain Cabins. We spent two nights there, going up to the Columbia Icefields the next day.
We then headed down to Ta-Ta Creek, Fort Steele and then over to Waterton Lakes National Park, a Canadian extension of Glacier National Park.
Next we went down to Eugene OR to visit our son Daniel and his wife Jennifer. Then we went back home. It was a nice trip which we enjoyed immensely.
