Vaga Lutheran Church

When I was lad, probably less than 10, I enjoyed going through a stack of postcards my mother had brought back from a trip to Norway ca 1910.
It was this postcard that gave me the clue that allowed me to find it.
There was a name in the lower right hand corner that said Vaage Norway.
I believed that this was my mother's church.
When I started to try to research the family, I hadn't seen the postcard for fifty years but I still remembered that name!
After a number of letters I finally was able to contact the present occupant of the farm, Mr. Jon Preststulen.
It turns out we have the same grandfather, Hans Olson, but different grandmothers.
