I bought this volume for what I call its historical interest. Yes, many of the names have changed but the information is still excellent I'm sure. And there is both plant and habitat information.
This is a description of an early adventurer and I feel a vicarious participation in the travels and a great admiration of the travelers. I wish such an opportunity had been available to me.
So I have this volume for quite a different reason than my other books.
