I am not a reviewer or an expert bromeliophile. I would call myself a somewhat informed amateur who was a professional chemist. But until I get a more informed review I would like to post this view.
It is a large, thick book, 12 by 13.5 inches. It appears to me to be impeccably printed with many beautiful photographs. It has pictures and descriptions of an incredible 406 species in 44 genera.
It has at least one picture of each species and sometimes two or three.
There are many wonderful habitat photos, both panoramas and plants in their habitat.
It is not limited to a geographical area but covers a wide area. There are pictures of plants from Argentina to the Caribbean Islands.
