Wes had the rare privilege of working for Mulford Foster many years ago when he was in college. This of course gave him access to Mulford's plants.
He visited me today and we talked plants of course and wandered around my "jungle".

"I worked for Earl Small Orchids in Pinellas Park during the early to mid 60's and was the vice-chairman of the very first all bromeliad show ever held anywhere and it was in Clearwater Florida back in 1964. Not sure if anyone will remember me since I have been gone from that area now for 38 yrs."

He didn't pick out many of my plants but promised to pick a bunch next time!
He brought me five plants that had their origin in Mulford's garden. I am most pleased with them. When they bloom I will post them for you to see!
