I am a little puzzled by this plant. Ordinarily I would assume that this plant has produced a stolon. But this one looks more like a root. And the ball at the end has twelve or thirteen plants! I find this most strange and would appreciate some elaboration from any knowledgeable party!! Although it is labelled Dyckia altissima, Luther and Sieff do not list that species! Both Smith and Downs and Padilla say that altissima is a synonym for encholirioides.
It's in a 3 inch plastic pot.
