"First one is Tillandsia flexuosa, photo taken near the Airport of Trinidad and Tobago. It is a rather small variety growing in a bush. I had no flash so the light conditions were very bad but I tried to get as much as possible out of the scan. " (The other photo is on the Unknown page.)
"...... photos were taken 8 1/2 years ago. At that time I was just beginning to become a Tillandsia enthusiast, so I didn't take photos relevant for identification. However, I find them still interesting, and wish I could go back there to bring a few plants here again."And from Australia, "If you had 'Flora of the Guianas' 1987 with Bromeliaceae by Eric Gouda you would guess from his key that this is T. balbisiana but as you say the photo is not too clear.
