Neoregelia tigrina (Yale Sedman)

" ......the flower is distinctly purple outside the white center, and the leaves are much darker; however, it does show the reddish stripes quite nicely, and I believe that the dark green leaves may result from its location in a fairly shaded spot on the bench."
