"Tillandsia minasgeraisensis: A species endemic to Minas Gerais estate where it grows on rocks. Closely related to Tillandsia recurvifolia, an epiphyte occuring in southern Brazil, Paraguay, Bolivia, and Argentina. The species will be described as new by Renate Ehlers from Stuttgart, Germany."
