"Neoregelia pendula: Photo taken in Roberto Menescal's garden in August 1997. A member of subgenus Hylaeaicum, a group of a dozen of species which do not belong to Neoregelia but are much closer to Aechmea and perhaps will be established as a separate genus by Iv—n Ramirez who studied it in detail. A native of northern Amazonian Perœ."
