I have never seen such a floral display from a Vriesea or Tillandsia. There are over twenty flowers open at one time. Often there is one or two, maybe even five but I have never seen a group like this. At a time like this I wonder if a plant is really happy or if it is simply desperately trying to save itself by reproduction. In any case, it is a beautiful display!
