Brachychiton sp.


I have a small tree that is struggling to get established.

It has been in its present location for a number of years with no increase in size (?).

After the freeze last January I thought I would lose it.

But! it looks better than ever with several new crown sprouts.

It looks like it is going to give a terrific set of blooms, soon.

If it does I will post a picture of the bright red flaring trumpets!

I think it is B. acerifolia or possibly B. populneus! Any ideas?
