Charles Everard Dills (2)

Going from Courtland AL to Selma was by train, at night.
We had to stand all the way and we got no sleep that night.
When we arrived, we got off the train with our barracks bags over our shoulders and marched to headquarters.
Then they took our pictures and made an identification card.
Ugh! I was tired and they caught me blinking!
