This is Marie Hanson Dills, apparently in their home in Dunseith ND.
It would appear to be after their wedding and before the birth of Irene. So it is late 1912 or early 1913.

An element of this picture brings back a specific memory to me. The bookcase to the left of center appears to be one I remember in La Moure. The closed partion is a writing desk.
One time when I was quite small I tried to get something out of this desk when it was open. I "hung" on the edge of the desk and my weight tipped it over toward me.
I did not get hurt. But a cut lead glass bowl was on top and went all the way to the floor withoout breaking.
I don't remember any punishment.
