I asked the Star Granite Corporation to re-engrave the marble stone.
They agreed but found it was not possible as the stone was too fragile and too thin.
So they substituted granite and re-engraved the whole stone.
Eight rubbings were made by Jean Legried of Oakland MN to decipher the poem.
" Up within the courts of heaven
just inside the pearly gates,
guarded safely by the angels,
there our grandmother waits."
