NW of Mohall ND
I took a genealogical trip around ND one summer. I visited Mohall ND, found the location of her homestead at the courthouse and the home address of Mr. William Conole, the farmer we sold the homestead to in the 40's.
I found Mr. Conole at his farm east of town and he told that he had never plowed the SW corner of the quarter section because it just looked different. He thought that was probably where the sod house was.
So I went to the SW corner of the quarter and took this picture to the NE.
