This plant is growing next to the garage, facing west. This is one of my favorite plants. The pale green flowers erupt within a few days, making a great display. It isn't like so many other broms that grudgingly give you one flower, then a day or two later another! It gets some regular watering, ca 10 minutes, three times a week in summer, from above and about two-three hours of sun in summer.
I have found that at times the flowers can be quite fragrant. This one is not now, at sunset. So it apparently is not adapted to being pollinated by moths.
In the past, the inflorescences have been erect but this one is becoming somewhat pendant. Perhaps that should be telling me something.
