I tilted the inflorescence up to try to get another view. These two pictures are temporary. These are scans. I would appreciate your input as soon as possible.

I'm very pleased to report that Dr. Till has confirmed my identification. It is pleasing for an amateur like me to get it right with a strange plant like this.
Dr. Till says,"I have checked the plant with Fl. Neotropica vol. 14(3). 1979, and can confirm your identification."
