And here is the flower of Donald Leinbach's Aechmea bracteata. He sent me the seeds that were produced by this plant. (There must have been 1500 seeds at least!!! You will get 20 seeds in my next shipment.) The plant is a reasonably large plant, not the most flagrantly beautiful of the bromeliads but a good plant to have, but keep it away from garden paths and children!!!
