A rosette of stiff, spined, fleshy leaves. The size of the rosette is a function of the size of the pot. When this plant was transferred to a larger pot, the rosette doubled in size in a year!! These pictures are recent ones. This is the first inflorescence from a pup of the original plant. I expect it to bloom from the same spike every year for maybe a decade!
