I knew what this was. But the label is gone.
I will name it as soon as some of our wonderful people identify it for me.Dennis Cathcart of Tropiflora, from whom I probably got the plant says it is Tillandisa vernicosa.
So I went to my page to the button "Bromeliad Pictures" and found that there are two pictures available to me.
