An Enthusiastic Amateur's Bonsai Corner!

My son, Daniel, has started growing and training bonsais. I am not a bonsai expert but have seen a number and I think he is doing very well. He has a good "eye" which he obviously inherited from his mother.

In return, I'm enthusiastic about his progress and am putting them on my page so that he can receive, hopefully, constructive and helpful comments.

The Plants

These pictures will be grouped in sub-pages of five or six per page to allow faster loading. If I hear that it takes too long, I will cut this down. (Let me know!)
There is an index where you can go to any group of pictures. You can then go to the next group or back to the index.

We will have the pictures first in 2 x 2 inch thumbnails and then, if you wish and click on a picture, in a larger format, six inches wide. We want to keep the detail, so, please be patient.
If you have a picture that you would like to put on this page, send it to me at 1371 Avalon, San Luis Obispo CA 93405 or at cdills@charter.net. Please make it a 4" x 6" at 72 dpi (at most 150 dpi) and I will put it on (crediting you, of course).

I know little or nothing about bonsai. Perhaps there will be viewers as uneducated as I am. I see the specialized terms and need a glossary to understand them. So, I'm putting in a glossary and will add words as I encounter them. I encourage you to send me words and their definitions for inclusion.

We have an e-mail form that will allow you to send your wonderful comments!!!......
