Hoover Airport, Washington DC summer 1937

This the way Hoover Airport in Washington DC looked when I visited it at the First National Boy Scout Jamboree in the summer of 1937.

Later it became the site of the Pentagon!

This picture is from a box Brownie print, about 1.2 x 2 inches. This print is an incredible 16 x 25 inches.

Two Eastern Airline DC-2's are visible!
