This plant is another Lost Label plant. I have been asked if the petals have "petal appendages".
Since I wouldn't know a petal appendage if it bit me, I stripped a flower down and scanned it.
I increased the contrast unmercifully so one could see detail at the base of the petal.
The bract is on the left, the inside out petal is above the flower.
I don't see anything that might be "petal appendages".What do you think?
