Stereopticon Pictures

I have been experimenting around with how to take the best pictures. And by the best, I mean the most accurate, the most representative of the real thing.

The following is my description of the "right" method. I welcome discussion and disagreement as long as it's not disagreeable!
Since I am trying to duplicate what the eye sees, one should recognize that on the average, eyes are three inches apart. The second idea is that the distance for best visual acuity for normal eyesight is about ten inches. So it is my opinion that one should duplicate that angle for closeups. For longer shots one should move the camera three inches between shots.

The next consideration is how to display them. Since they are to be viewed by crossing one's eyes, the picture that was taken from the right has to be displayed on the left. And then the one of the left is to be displayed on the right. It goes without saying that they have to be lined up right!

      Good Luck !
